Entrapment

The story is about Robert "Mac" MacDougal who has an untarnished reputation as the world's greatest art thief. So when a priceless Rembrant is stolen in New York, the evidence points to Mac. Insurance investigator "Gin" Baker persuades her boss, whose company will lose $24 million on the theft, to let her go after the master criminal. The strong-willed and resourceful Gin has to entrap Mac, but he proves even more elusive and crafty than she expected. While engaging in an electric pas de deux of wariness and attraction, Mac and Gin form an edgy partnership that takes them from London, via the Western Isles of Scotland, to Kuala Lumpur, the high-tech capital of Malaysia. Together they come up with a daring plan for a multi-billion dollar-heist tied to the dawn of a new millennium...
Well a nice movie with a lot of double and triple crosses but they could have made it even better,,,,,

Glory Road

"Glory Road" is like other sports movies, and different from all of them. It is the same in the way it shows a rookie coach with an underdog team; he finds resistance from his players at first, he imposes his system and is a merciless taskmaster, and do I have to ask if they win the big game? This has been the formula for countless films, and "Glory Road" will not be the last. But the movie is not really about underdogs and winning the big game. It's about racism in American sports, and how coach Don Haskins and his players on the 1965-66 basketball team from Texas Western University made a breakthrough. In Texas at that time college basketball teams had been integrated, but there was an "informal rule" that you never played more than one black player at home, two on the road or three if you were behind. After Texas Western won the 1966 NCAA championship with an all-black team on the court, by defeating an all-white Kentucky team coached by the legendary Adolph Rupp, the rules were rewritten, and modern college and professional basketball began.
"Glory Road" is an effective sports movie, yes, but as the portrait of a coach and team and the realities of administrations and booster clubs in a state obsessed with sports.Where it succeeds is as the story of a chapter in history, the story of how one coach at one school arrived at an obvious conclusion and acted on it, and helped open college sports in the South to generations of African Americans.

Me,Myself and Irene

yet another movie..and this time it was "me,myself and irene"....I wanted to see this movie for a long time as it is pretty old (released in 2000). Well the movie is about a Rhode island police officer Charlie Baileygates ( played by Jim carry) who is a mild-mannered, hard working. always helpful and a loving father to 3 sons ( which by the way r not his). Charlie suffers from a split personality disorder and his other half Hank is a hyper aggressive alter-ego guy which always creates problems for Charlie. The story becomes interesting when both of them fall in love with the same girl Ms. Irene waters ( played by Renee Zellweger) who is running for her life as she knows the wrong doings of her evil boss. Now, Charlie/Hank must wage a war- with himself- for the confused Irene's affection.
All in all a good movie which u can expect from the hillarious Jim carrey..but if u r not a Jim carry fan then this movie is not meant for u.

Goal! the dream begins

Its 1:45 am in the morning and i just watched the movie "goal" and i thought that i write my review before the movie left my head. Well this film was not publicised well so i am sure most of u havent heard of it. Even though it was declared a flop in the box office and had terrible reviews but trust me on this u would feel differently when u watch it.
Well the movie is about Santiago Munez who had to leave his home town LA and travel half way around the world to England in the search of his dreams. As an under privileged mexican-american he seemed destined to follow his fathers path in life and that was laboring at menial jobs to earn just enough money to support his family until he was discovered by a british scout and got him a chance at the new castle united club in england. There this underdog had to prove that he got the determination and talent to make it among the best in the world...

All in all an amazing movie...and a must watch,,, this is that kind of a film which urges u to go for ur dreams and forget about the rest...

The cave

The cave is about a team of scientists which make a startling discovery about the entrance of a giant underground cave system which could be home to an undiscovered eco-system. But when the exploration begins they find deep inside the cave is not just a new eco-system, but an entirely new species.
Well i wont suggest that u go for this movie as u have seen many of its kinds..so it would be a complete waste of both time and money..
